After 12 years as a director at the UK’s longest-established firm of flexible finance directors, Simon Walters established Headline FD to continue providing finance director services to a variety of clients, primarily focussing on family offices, the property sector, SMEs and listed companies.

Our experience as FDs includes healthcare, real estate, professional services, investment companies, tech, media and marketing to name but a few. The skills of a strong FD are transferable across many sectors and Headline FD has at its disposal, the experience and expertise of no fewer than 14 established FDs meaning that we can handle the requirements of every assignment, however complex.

Despite being regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Headline FD does not offer traditional audit or tax work; instead focusing on the tasks that a full-time FD would do or provide support and additional resource to a permanent FD through a busy period or transaction. And where clients’ auditors are precluded by ethical guidelines from participating in certain projects, Headline FD can take on the work which needs to be carried out by a third party.
